The Parawai Tramping Club is a long established tramping club meeting the needs of people aged from youngsters to retirees on the Kapiti Coast. The club aims to have an activity most weekends and these activities range from easy family walks to reasonably demanding tramps in the lower North Island. Each year there are always a few trips to places further a-field such as Tongariro National Park or the South Island. The club also caters for those with an active interest in mountain biking and organises the occasional kayak trip. Club nights are a review of past and future activities and frequently we have guests speaking on various topics associated with tramping.

Club Nights

Every 2^nd and 4^th Wednesdays of each month at Kapiti School, corner of Rimu and Kapiti Roads (opposite Police station), Paraparumu, 7:30 p.m.
