Electronic Databases

For a club interested in a stand alone database package try Membership Database Pro. You can download a free trial version of the software from this link. There is a one off cost based on size of the club (prices are on their website). This is a NZ company with very good support. It is already in use by some of our clubs.

Membership Database Pro has agreed to give FMC member clubs a 10% discount on the cost of the software .

An Australian company which provides a website hosting service and an online database try EM Development – there is a set up fee and an annual fee.

For an open source webbased database you could try CiviCRM . This is a Drupal based package and you need to be reasonably IT aware to use this !

Liability Issues

FMC is asked from time to time to comment on the liability of member clubs in the event of a fire or accident occurring on a club trip. Two documents which give general guidelines have been prepared to help explain the situation to clubs.
